Inspiration by Fred Lynch
Inspiration is in my breath
It's in my lungs, it's in my chest
I call it forth now upon request
So close to death but then I resurrect.

The rhythm of my heart beats timeless—
Never ending like a saga
Like the chant of a cantata
Hypnotically melodic like a mantra
Both Nonspecific and prolific
Like hieroglyphic
But it's like a déjà vu
Each time you hear its—distant thunder
Disassemblin' all assumptions
It’s No wonder who we are—
We Tha sons we the daughters of the martyrs
Who taught us to pardon those who would harm us
Give-n-gratis to all our taunters
They don't want us but they gonna have to watch us--
Rise & inherit the terrafirma
Discern far greater purpose
In turnin from all the vices to the Verses
That's why I'm firm in affirming the sermon that came from the firmament
Down like a fountain to the mountain what you learning?
I'm here observing how I was serving
Just laboring in the word
And I received a message that was rather urgent:
Hip hop was hurtin' n overburdened
Distorted from all the curses
By the word smiths and their voices ill-exploited.
No way to avoid it
The Lord has ordered my steps back to the orchard
Cause the harvest is in orbit
This is forces at work
Supported and escorted by metamorphic sources
Of course it’s all recorded
And you’ll be rewarded regarding the place of where your heart is at
Can’t deny the artifacts
or counteract or mount an attack
The actual fact is that the prospect is deeply complex in context an experience reaching beyond text.

Inspiration is in my breath
It's in my lungs, it's in my chest
I call it forth now upon request
So close to death but then I resurrect.

Enthralled in the cure of souls
We play our roll,
Work while it is day
before the night can take its toll
The inspired, the undead the reanimated
Inoculated and sated with the bated breath
Of a Savior posthumous
whose plot was thus
To swallow up all of the blockages
that was stopping us
And now we resurrected from the crevices
Movin’ as an edifice
in Divine fellowship that’s Telekinetic
Wit Seraphim & Cherubim
and Elohim yo yea that’s Him!
The One who abides within
and rides on the wind!
The one had died an’ then
He got up again!
The One who is both
wide and thin
Up and down,
here and there & everywhere!
Can’t you feel it in the atmosphere
Make you wanna clap an’ cheer
Inspiration pushing me from the rear
something here is
telling me “Go ahead”
undetected naturally but actually
Like infrared its spread
Embedded in waves not particles
The genuine article
Catch a glance look again
The wave is a part of you
depending on your point of view!
So breath it in-hold it
Let your soul absorb it
From death back to life
Just like that transported
To an elevated octave
Not the average stock option
Top notch honest to God
You’ve got somethin
Beyond gumption
Or mere assumption
This is inspired with holy unction

Do these corporate executives know that we inhale at least 10 sextillion atoms with every breath, meaning due to global wind patterns over one year's time, you will breath an atom breathed by everyone on earth, and who was ever lived, meaning this poem is like literally being brought to you by Shakespeare, Joan of Arc, Kennedy, Tubman, Dubois, Ravera, Yeshua, your mama, and all of them asking forget a millionaire who wants to be a mountain anymore. Reminding haters, your failures are not my Border Patrol, my dreams ain't yo dartboard I want the finest minds in science to reject my potential and see if they can walk off with their faces is still intact. I'm bad. My breath is like, humanity limitless unbounded and impossibly free.
